In our previous posts, we have been discussing a whole lot about discipline, planning and overcoming fear. However, there is a character you exhibit and we are all guilty of it; of which you will understand now.
Have you found yourself in a situation where you have made an excellent plan, certainly to help you grow but as a result of the obstacle or the work it entails to bring it into a reality, you easily change your course to something less stressful?
A classical example was when Segun, a degree holder in Accounting, decides to write professional exams and qualify. After careful planning, he realized the commitment, discipline time, energy, rigour and money it will consume. So, he decided to go for a Masters Degree in Accounting- a one year program.
See I am not really against going for masters in accounting, what I am saying is that when opportunity now presents itself, under a condition of all things being equal, a Chartered Accountant is considered first before a Masters degree holder.
The above illustration is known as flow through a path of low resistance. It is a feeling of not doing what you are supposed to do. It happens in different formats. Another one is the loss of a job, instead of painstakingly doing a self-evaluation and see where you can improve on yourself and acquire more skills, the low resistance is self-pity and blames others for what happened.
There are many of them hence, do a self-analysis and making amendment where the need be because according to Socrates an unexamined life is not worth living

P.S. The path of low resistance does not give you a result. What is gives is a mirage.
