My True Life Story –Tim Jibodu, ACA, ACTI

Some years back when I was seriously looking for jobs and there was no job

in view. I wrote several applications and the few interviews I had then always

resulted into “we shall contact you soon”, “you will hear from us” etc.

No money to pay for ICAN ATS lectures, I didn’t even have a room of my

own to stay. So I resulted into sleeping in the ICAN Tuition Centre with

chairs and tables full of bed bugs.

Then, I went on a Solution Search; I invested in 2 Accounting

Packages- Peachtree (now Sage50) and QuickBooks. Which You now

have in Video Training- [VT]. The Video Training contains Software,

Manual and Day-to-Day Real Business life transaction Practice question,

which I practiced very well. After going through the training, my

confidence level jumped up to ‘power one million’. Within three weeks,

I got a job with an Audit & SAP Consultancy Firm in Ilupeju, Lagos

and I started earning salary. I have money to finance my ICAN exams,

became an ACA and enjoyed several job and business

opportunities- including working as Finance Manager with the

No1 Advertising Company in Nigeria, Insight-Publicis. Starting my

own lucrative Consulting Firm, Platinum Stream Consulting, which deals

with Software and Accounting Systems Implementation for SMEs in

Nigeria? Thanks to my solid foundation in learning Accounting Packages

without stress.
