Recently, I have been sending you posts on goals and resolution especially now that the year is coming to an end. It is very certain that setting a new year resolution is inevitable for most people.
Now, the question is what is a resolution? Resolution is the directing and impelling force in individual progress. Without it, no substantial work can be accomplished. Not until you bring a resolution to beat upon your life, then you consciously and rapidly develop.
Because a life without resolution is a life without aims and a life without aims is a mindless, zombie and directionless life. In short, a complete waste of time and energy.
When you make a resolution, it means you’ve resolved. It means that you are dissatisfied with your current condition and you have taken it upon yourself to improve and produce something better.
I understand that you might be wondering that you set the same resolution every year without accomplishing anything.
The answer is very simple. It is because you have set a half-hearted and premature resolution. This is no resolution at all and it will be shattered at the first instance of a challenge. It is vague or let me say it’s an impulse desire.
A true resolution is a crisis of long thought. It is an irrevocable determination not to rest nor cease until you achieve your goals and objectives in life.
If a classical example is that your 2021 resolution is to work in a multinational company. And you don’t have a vast knowledge of accounting software for small-scale business and Enterprise business.
You don’t have an in-depth knowledge of MS Excel and Financial Modeling. When it comes to presentation, how will you present to the management in charts – pie charts bar charts and other diagrams to analyze your figures.
In this constantly changing world, you don’t know how to use cloud accounting and other soft skills, then your RESOLUTION is just a day-dream what will die at the slight of any difficulty.
